Meditation works! Research has shown that meditation can help with a wide range of concerns as well as alter the structure and function of the brain. We also know that all meditations are not the same. Different practices require different attentional skills, intentions, and impact different brain regions. With this new understanding we can now guide people toward meditation styles designed to match their goals, needs, and brainwave tendencies.

Join Psychologist Jeff Tarrant as he applies brain-based principles to the practice of meditation. This presentation will introduce the 5 styles of NeuroMeditation (Focus, Mindfulness, Open Heart, Quiet Mind, & Deep States) and show how they can help with ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD and more.

Dr. Tarrant is the founder and CEO of the NeuroMeditation Institute (NMI), LLC . He is the author of the book, “Meditation Interventions to Rewire the Brain.” He is a regular presenter at national and international conferences and has a private practice in Corvallis, OR, where he specializes in the use of EEG NeuroMeditation.
